Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp, a Canadian actor and actress, is well-known for her role as the lead in a variety of television programs as well as her outstanding performances in films. There is a huge fanbase in American and Canadian TV. Emily was first interested in acting when she saw her sister Katie working on a film. After discovering her enthusiasm for the acting world Emily decided to enroll in classes for it and began auditioning. Her first audition was for a couple of commercials before getting a part on the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You Are You Scared of Darkness? There was just one scene in which she did not talk. When she was fifteen, Emily made her biggest breakthrough after she was made an official character on the WB Television series Glory Days. Emily's talent caught Greg Berlanti's attention when the series was cancelled after just nine episodes. The show's creator cast Emily for Everwood, his new TV show. Emily has also been a dancer as well as a photographer. She was named as one of the top 20 teens' actors. Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed her as top 51.
